We went to the Spreckels Organ Concert (Spreckels Organ Society) at Balboa Park for their free 2:00 pm series on Sunday afternoon. Hearing an outdoor pipe organ in a beautiful setting that is free of charge warms your soul, even on a chilly day as this particular one. We tried to stay warm by sitting in the sun, bundled ourselves up with coats, and even brought extra blankets, Still, we had difficulty trying to warm up which resulted in Gaga and Ashley cuddling up together. Brandon had other ideas and enlisted Papa and Kevin to throw the football with him while the organist was playing.
Kevin and I enjoy going to Balboa Park (near the San Diego Zoo) as it is such a cultural and historic area. Afterward, we then circled toward the rows of international houses to sneak a peek at Denmark and then head on over to Ranch 99 for the Chinese equivalent of Danish ebelskiver. Though not identical, they are somewhat similar and I enjoy taking others to experience the unique snack which Brandon is so fond of.
