Kevin and I did our patriotic duty and went to cast our ballot for governor, senators, lots of other elected positions, as well as a handful of absurd propositions. Since we are baby-sitting Squirt and Inky, we took them along to experience voting. Squirt is the blue octopus and Inky is the little pink one. Brandon wrote a summary of the experience in his school journal and shared with his class that "Voting was boring."
Earlier that night we took Squirt and Inky to the "We Care Sports" event at Del Mar Hills Academy. We snapped some pictures of the two being tossed between Brandon and his classmate, Wil, and also between Ashley and her friend, Asia. The kids got some exercise while we also tried some of the same games with them too - another fun night at school.
