Panda Bear Bread?!?!  It took us all afternoon, but with a lot of time, some patience, and several excited girls, we were pretty excited with the end result!

Aunt Ginny had a great idea to make Panda Bread with Ashley, but little did she know what was in store when two of the neighborhood girls joined to make the now infamous panda bread from scratch.  Not only was there bread made, but we had them over for dinner and the kids were able to take the two loaves and make a sandwich to show off their creation at school on Monday.

It was such a simple night, but as none of us had made this before, we did not realize how challenging it would be to blend the green dye and cocoa powder into the dough balls to get a uniform consistency.  Ginny was very strategic in how she meshed the six different long strands of bread and did a great job with the end result, but as the bread baked, we were flogged with the question of "Is it done yet?"

No night would be complete without watching "Kung Fu Panda 2", again compliments of Aunt Ginny to make it a panda party.  To play off a memorable quote from that movie, "My aunt made panda bread.  You too can eat.  Buy one bread, get one free!"

What a cool aunt!?!?!
