Well, we are in a pending status to see if we will soon again be homeowners after selling our Euless home in March 2009. After selling the home that we built from scratch, our family has lived in a hotel, crashed with our wonderful hosts Helen & Richard at their abode, or in the townhouse rental. The potential home is 1.18 miles (4 minutes) from our current location and was built in 1984. It is 2,189 square feet with 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bath, and has a 3 car garage in a cul-de-sac. The sellers have not been as forth-coming with information and their financial status, so the home is a short-sale, which was unbeknownst to us when we made an offer. We will keep our fingers crossed that their bank (Bank of America) accepts our offer, but with today's market and the multitude of foreclosures and short-sales in California, it's not worth holding your breath.
