Last week at Del Mar Hills Academy, the librarian coordinated a group picture to showcase the school's spirit for the Chargers. With the hope that the school would receive a grant from the San Diego Chargers for showing support of their team, Brandon was excited at the opportunity to wear his Charger gear with permission. Although questioning the validity that this was a school sanctioned event, Brandon dressed the part and went to school in his Charger jersey (albeit a size too large), his Charger's football helmet, and his Dallas Cowboys football pants (he does not yet have any Chargers pants). It was priceless.
After confirming with his teacher that this was in fact legitimate, Brandon then informed me he needed to eat only small sized food since big food would not fit through the face mask on his helmet he would be wearing all day. After much discussion and debate, the adult card was thrown out and he realized he would not be able to wear the helmet all day during class. However, he was able to wear it for the picture and wore it with pride.
Brandon is the second to last letter in the "We Love the Bolts" sign below. He is holding the "T" and has his head and helmet cocked a little to the left. Ashley is in the picture too, straight up from Brandon in the third row (or so) from the back with her arms in a "V" formation.
If you want a better picture, double click to have it enlarged. Go Bolts!
