Well, Brandon came home the other day and handed Kevin a $10 bill, proudly informing us that he would like to put the money into his bank account. Kevin questioned him as to where he got the money since neither of us were aware of him receiving any money recently from anyone. In a rather nonchalant manner, Brandon told us that another boy in the 3rd grade at his school gave it to him as he had watched Brandon play 'Minecraft' at the Boys & Girls Club after-school program and wanted to play too. 'Minecraft' is a game about breaking and placing blocks with a strategy as the players need to first build structures to protect against creepers (nocturnal monsters) and then start building up other areas for their neighborhood. Since the boy did not have an online account (which you can get for free as a demo), the boy asked Brandon if he could use his account to which he cut the boy a deal. In return for $10 cash, Brandon would give the boy his username & password to play the game online and the boy agreed - transaction complete!
It was a little worrisome that Brandon negotiated the deal in an after-school program which we put a stop to, but it was also concerning the the other boy carried cash to school and was willing to pay that amount without asking more questions.
