The big game arrived and our family watched Green Bay beat Pittsburgh. Brandon, Kevin, and I were excited to watch, along with Ms. Jocelyne (one of Karri's co-workers) as the Packers beat the Steelers 31-25. Brandon wanted to be a cheese-head and root for the Packers, while Ashley thought the Steelers had a better uniform and cheered for them. It was a relatively close game with decent commercials, the Black-Eyed Peas for half-time, as well as interesting commentary, so we enjoyed it.Ashley on the other hand wanted to invite a friend so she wouldn't have to watch the game, so Azu (a friend from her 3rd grade class who lives in the neighborhood) came over and they played in the backyard. They did their "girl talk" and ate meals, while also discussing Ashley's new short-style haircut. I thought it was adorable, yet Ashley felt she looked like a boy and that it was too short. Brandon and others confirmed that it looked great and she was feeling more comfortable and confident, which was a relief.
