Driving around the Berkley area in Oakland with my parents, there are some interesting sights to see. For a brief period of time, my mom's family relocated from Wyoming and lived in Oakland, so we went to see if we could find any identifiable items, but were not successful.
However, one of the most intriguing yet disconcerting things found was the "Catcher's Nitz" storefront off Alcatraz Avenue. The window services proclaim "Head Lice & Nit Removal Services & Salon" as an alternative to doing it yourself.

To me, I am not sure what is more concerning or disturbing - the fact that there is so much demand where there is a need to have an actual store location or the fact that they will come to your house. Truly is something that leaves you scratching your head (so to speak).
