Valentine's Day Cards Galore

Ashley and Brandon once again made their own Valentine's cards this year for their classrooms and I was impressed with their creativity and attention to detail.  I value their desire to personalize it with their own style while taking the time to think of others.
Ashley's V-Day Cards

Ashley's theme this year was to send out a wish for a "fintastic" Valentine to her classmates.  She handed out a bag to the 18 other students and 1 teacher with the inside card printed with: "So glad we are in the same school".

To make this handout, she cut out the fish bowl design, put the cutout in a cut Ziploc bag, filled it with Swedish Fish candies and then tied it with red yarn.  The finished product was so cute and her teacher loved the idea, so that must mean bonus points for her!
Brandon's V-Day Cards
Brandon had a different focus as he wanted to give out lots of candy to his classmates with the hope that any leftover candy would be his.  Ah, but no such luck as we ensured that the open bag of candies were allocated to the 28 students and 1 teacher so no leftovers.  He elected to hand out an: "I chews you" theme with a gumball motif that he created with Ziploc bags, the outline of gumball cutout with the candy tied up and taped to the back of the greeting.  One of the students loved the candy, so Brandon was glad it was a success.
