School has finally started and our summer has come to an amazing end. We had a good summer and it was sad to see it go. We have enjoyed the late summer nights and being able to stay outside later with the additional hours of sunlight. But now, fall is upon us and we are gearing up for the holidays and homework with our last year of having the kids at the same school together before Ashley enters middle school.
This year, Ashley's teacher is Mrs. Warren and she was ecstatic to find out she was going to be in the "best teacher's class" and with all her friends. We are glad she got her choice and feel that this is going to be a great last year in elementary school as a sixth grader for her. Ashley will have a week away at camp in December and will be playing violin again this year in orchestra.

Brandon's fourth grade teacher is Mrs. Sleet - the same teacher that Ashley had when she was in fourth grade. Brandon said that he would have preferred to have the other teacher combo (Hemerick/Sullins) but overall he didn't care as Davis was in his class and that's his current best friend.
