Brandonism of the Week

Hanging out with our neighbors, we were celebrating Cameron's 11th birthday when Kevin and I were informed of an incident involving one of our kids.  Stories that start along these lines make you sometimes cringe...

A week or so prior, Ashley and Brandon had walked across the street inquiring if Donatella could come out and play before dinner and bedtime.  Frequently, the neighborhood kids will ask one another if they are able to play, but apparently this particular night, her mom apologoized and informed them both that Donatella was not at home.  One of our kids started to turn away while the other one who was not to be detered asked another question of the mother, "How about the big one?" refering to the oldest daughter, Isabella, and her ability to play outside.  Apparently, our child forgot Isabella's name but wanted someone to play with.  The adults thought it was funny and started to chuckle, but Kevin and I fully knew Brandon was the guilty one who asked the question and our suspicisions were confirmed.

That's our boy in all his glory and we are very fortunate to that Ashley has good manners.  One can only hope he is able to absorb that in some capacity.
