Brandon's playing baseball! We finally relented and enrolled Brandon into coach pitch baseball and he is now playing for the Diamondbacks. Brandon is taking this new role seriously and is excited that he has some friends from school (Wilson Sheffield, Eli Sanchez, Elijah Rhodes, and a few other friends) are all on the same team. We were pleased too and hoping it would be a good bonding experience.

Ashley is happy that one of Brandon's teammates, Luke Ball, has a sister her age that she can hang out with. Taber and Ashley will take the dogs for a walk and go to the playground while the boys are playing. Kevin will help out if needed and enjoys coaching Brandon.

Games are played at different fields and vary with times. They practice about 30 minutes to an hour prior to the start of the game and each boy gets an opportunity at bat and different place to field hits. Since it is coach pit, the are able to hit almost every pitch which makes it seem more like a true game. Score really isn't kept formally, though the boys try to do so on their own.
