Far from being an Avril Lavigne fan, Ashley and Brandon do like some of her songs which we have to monitor for content and language. In that same vein, Brandon will sometimes like to proclaim that he is a "skater boy" which is the title to one of her songs, though spelled completely wrong unbeknonst to him. So, while we were at the park to walk the dogs and get some fresh air and exercise when Brandon proclaimed that he wanted to try skateboarding again and be a "skater boy".
This particular afternoon,Ashley was playing ball and running around with Cheeto and Daisy. Kevin and Brandon went around the entire park trying to coordinate balance, technique, and cool moves (staying on the skateboard). Brandon stuck with it for quite awhile, so we were pleased from that perspective. Kevin was patient and worked to help him which afterward Brandon announced that he is a "good skateboarder".
Note Ashley is ever stylish with her skirts and boots that she loves to wear. She is truly a girly girly.
