Padres Fan Fest

We are gearing up for baseball season as the San Diego Padres hosted Fanfest and allowed fans the rare opportunity to play baseball and see behind-the-scenes areas usually off limits to non-Padre personnel.  The ironic thing is that we were not even aware that this was going on until we saw a flyer at the credit union which advertised it, so we thought we would check it out .  We were really glad that we did as the kids each received a free baseball glove and had a lot of fun.

Ashley, Brandon, and Kevin each took the opportunity to catch and throw some balls on the field, which was nice to view from ground level and experience what the players do.  Brandon was thoroughly enjoying the day being able to assume the role of a baseball player by running the bases, warming up on the pitching mound, touring the locker room and weight room, as well as sitting in the dugout.
