Our family was able to enjoy the outdoors by hiking at Torrey Pines State Park. It has several trails with a variety of terrain, as well as some gorgeous scenery, so it's one of our favorites. Unfortunately, they do not allow dogs in the park, so we aren't able to bring Daisy or Cheeto. On some occasions, we will make the trek up the steep hill from the beach parking lot, meander through the trails, and then maneuver down to the beach and walk through the sandy beach to our car.
We do tend to stop and take in the sights as we love how the trails overlook the ocean. Kevin is frequently walking her and has become very familiar with the different trails and was our guide on this particular day. It is a popular place for cyclists as well as runners who like the challenge of the steep hills.
We hope to make this a frequent event and make up for all the times in Texas where it was either too hot, raining, high winds, too cold, uncertain weather conditions, etc... We truly feel lucky to be able to live in such a great location with wonderful weather.
