Living in San Diego, you tend to get spoiled by the great weather, especially coming from Texas where the weather tends to change every 15 minutes. Today we had sprinkles and were relegated to spend the day indoors as a Pacific Storms head our way since rain is projected throughout the rest of the week with 3 to 6 inches. Amazingly, it is headline news and good laughter for Kevin and I.
Ashley and Brandon decided to pass the day cleaning the house and doing watercolor paintings. Brandon also declared today as Sasa's 4th birthday (his stuffed cow received last month for Christmas from Papa and Gaga) and inform us that she needed to have a birthday party. Ashley questioned how Sasa could be four years old since he just got her last month. He had no response.
Kevin and I watched the San Diego Chargers lose 14-17 to the New York Jets in the AFC West NFL Divisional Playoffs. Since the Dallas Cowboys also lost the NFC West NFL Divisional Playoffs to the Minnesota Vikings 3-34 earlier in the day, it seems my football season has quickly come to an end. The interesting thing is that Brandon is quite the football smack-talker while Ashley perpetually asks when the game is going to be over. They enjoyed a half-time snack consisting of hot cocoa with flavored marshmallows (lemon, lime, orange, and strawberry), of which Kevin and I politely declined.
